A Message from the Principal
Kia ora koutou,
My name is Tania McNamara and I am privileged to be the principal of Milton Primary School. I am very proud of Milton Primary School and of the children who make it a great place to be.
Our school is big enough to provide many enriching learning opportunities for our children yet small enough to care about each individual child. I make it a point to know all of the children and I enjoy watching each of them progress through the school.
Our school vision "To develop confident, well-rounded, life-long learners who will be respectful and responsible citizens" permeates through all aspects of our school.
Meeting students' needs is the focus of our teaching programmes. Milton Primary School is a place where we all work together to develop the skills, talents and attitudes of each child in a positive, inclusive and caring environment that will enable them to reach their full potential and achieve personal goals. It is a place where we celebrate learning and achievement.
The education of our children is a team effort between home and school. We place high priority on parent involvement and value close partnerships between the child, home and school. My door is always open and I am always happy to meet with you to talk about your child.
I look forward to being part of your child's educational journey.
Warm regards
Tania McNamara
