At Milton Primary School we believe that children need to be able to be competent digital citizens. In order for this to happen children need to be offered opportunities to use a range of devices in different contexts.
Each class has access to i-pads, chrome books and laptops in order for children to develop the necessary skills to become competent using a range of devices.
A digital technology programme (Digi-Kids) is offered to all children on a weekly basis. This programme teaches the skills involved in the using digital technology. The goal of this programme is that children will develop essential required in order to share their learning using technology.
Each class at Milton Primary has their own blog which is used to display every day learning.As the child's skills develop they are able to take increasing more ownership over their blogs.
In order to keep up with the fast moving digital world the teachers at Milton Primary strongly believe in undertaking of regular professional development in this area.
